Course
Content
Insulated aerial lift devices are used extensively throughout the electric
utility industry to provide both primary and secondary electrical protection
to the utility worker. Knowledge and skills in conducting aerial lifts
provide the needed electrical protection.
This program is designing to impart and improve knowledge and skill
required for performing high voltage testing of aerial lifts and for
interpreting of results. Primary emphasis on the use of high voltage
D.C. although the use of high voltage A.C. will be covered.

Should Attend
This training program is for personnel that conduct high voltage tests
on insulated aerial lifts, those that have supervisory responsibility
for such work, and those in the safety department. The program includes
acceptance and maintenance testing both articulating and telescoping
lift trucks. The program also includes use of continuous current monitors
for bare hand hot line work.
Course
Fee and Registration
The Course fee of $300.00 per registrant includes the following: Compilation
of A92.2 Standards Text notes by the instructors Technical Articles
of interest Transportation to and from the test site Morning and afternoon
coffee/soft drink breaks Tuesday lunch
Advanced registration is recommended since the class size will be limited
due to the hand-on instruction. Refund requests received less than 5
days a session will be subject to a $25.00 charge.

is responsible for meals except those outlined under "Course Fee and
Registration. Reasonably priced eating facilities are within
walking distance. Cab fare to the Drury Inn is approximately $25.
We will provide transportation back to the airport at the end of classes
if needed.
